75 Ford Maverick 2 door.

Car showed 69,000 miles on it when I bought it in 1992, and I made it into a drag car which has not seen but maybe a half mile of street driving.

Currently set up for bracket racing off of the footbrake. Back half, 14×32, 4 link, 9″, 4.86 aluminum center, good axles, power glide, TBM brakes all the way around, Mustang II front suspension, adjustable shocks, 438″ Dart small block Ford, etc.

Runs 5.80 at 120 last time out (Aug 30, 2024), air temp upper 80’s humidity hovering around 96% relative (rained an hour before). Races on alcohol, starts/idles on gas. 2560lb with me in it (I’m about 200 lb). Consistent. Proven race winner.

Can sell as a roller, complete, or complete with trailer-hook onto it and go race. Great 5.80 index car since it runs 5.80 flat out. Can easily be slowed to a 6.00 index car which I have done in the past, and been successful (on the footbrake).

I have a title for it. Selling because I just do not have much interest in racing anymore. Prefer to sell outright and use the funds to pay the house off–but, I might do some trading for/towards a nice ’65-’66 F100 short bed, 67-79 F100/F150 maybe.
